Information Services Assistant (Part-Time)


Description/Responsibilities: The Brownsburg Public Library is seeking candidates for a part-time (22.5 hours/week) Information Services Assistant position with a focus on school-age programming. This individual will work at both the Adult and Children’s desks to serve our community with high quality reference and technology assistance. Additional duties include collection development and occasional displays. Hours will include one desk night per week and a weekend rotation.

Qualifications: Librarian Certification Level 3, MLS from an ALA accredited program; Library experience preferred

Salary: $17.25/hour

Customer Service Assistant (Part-Time)


What do we need?

We are seeking a high energy, customer service oriented, team player. A high

school diploma is required and customer service experience is preferred. A

comfort level with computers, technology, and people is a must.

What would you do?

Check in items, inspect items, check out items, process holds, collect fines and

fees, place meeting room reservations, and more. In addition, Customer

Service Assistants also assist patrons with various questions about the internet,

applications, printing and usage.

When would I work?

Approximately 16 hours per week that includes at least one evening per week and

one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month.

How much would I make?

$11.25/hour
