Library Services Librarian: Full Time (Adult Programming)
Description/Responsibilities:
The Brownsburg Public Library is seeking candidates for a full-time (37.5 hours/week) Adult Programmer position. Join our creative Library Services team dedicated to providing quality service to all patrons and coworkers.
If you enjoy interacting with adults, creating programming content, and you like variety and innovation in your work, we’d really love to talk with you!
Main duties for this position are:

Collaborating with other adult programming librarians on our team to create engaging programming for ages 18+ that encompasses a wide range of programming categories including arts/crafts, tech, informational, literacy, and more!

Providing excellent service while assisting patrons with reference and computer lab questions using physical, digital and technological resources at our adult and children’s desks.

Helping to develop, maintain, and promote collection areas
Our entire Library Services team also assists in displays, group programming, community event outreach, promotion of services and continuous improvement of patron and staff experiences. Hours will include one desk night per week and a weekend rotation.
Qualifications:
Librarian Certification Level 3, MLS from an ALA accredited program; Library experience preferred
Salary:
$18.89/hour plus benefits

If you enjoy interacting with youth ages 0-5 and their caregivers, creating programming content, have a passion for early literacy and Pre-K skills building, and you like variety and innovation in your work, we’d really love to talk with you!
